Things To Do in NYC This Weekend & Beyond: Adventure Play, Outdoor Dance, and More
October is upon us, and we're following a trail of treats to Halloween. We have a few virtual "tricks" up our sleeves, too, and if you need intel on pumpkin patches, apple picking, or corn mazes, you've also come to the right place.
The month marks the return of more of our beloved museums, including the Jewish Museum on Thursday, October 1, the Brooklyn Children's Museum on Saturday, October 10, and the Children's Museum of Manhattan on Thursday, October 16.
You can also see Jack and the Beanstalk (puppet style), get dirty in The Yard on Governors Island, boogie down with the Mark Morris Dance Group, and celebrate Oktoberfest this week, live and in-person.
If you prefer to stay closer to home, you can still explore the city with these fun virtual field trips or spend your time planning a Halloween party for your nearest and dearest with these 25 fun Halloween games for an at-home soiree. Of course, we've got plenty more picks for any day of the week in our Event Calendar, and seasonal must-dos fill our Fall Fun and Halloween Guides.
