Get festive this weekend with many holiday events in Atlanta, especially tree lightings. Choose from popular mainstays like Light the Station at Atlantic Station, Season of Celebration Tree Lighting in Alpharetta, or the super silly Jingle Mingle in downtown Gainesville, where spectators witness the lighting of a giant metal chicken. Also this weekend, Georgia Festival of Trees opens at Gas South Convention Center. The location may be new, but the event will still have beautiful trees, live entertainment, children's games, Santa, and the return of The Pink Pig!
