From the shopping mall to the shark tank, Santa is making plenty of special appearances this season. We have rounded up some of our favorite outings with Santa in Fairfield County. Ride a train, build a wooden boat or watch him make a daredevil descent from 22 stories above. Just don't forget your camera! Stepping Stones Museum, Norwalk 
Meet and greet Santa at Stepping Stones Museum. Parents and caregivers can take pictures as their little ones meet Santa and his friends from the North Pole on Saturday afternoons 11am-12 through through December 24th.

Stew Leonard's, Danbury
Starting on Friday, November 25th, Santa Claus will be visiting all five locations of Stew Leonard's from the North Pole. Bring the kids to Stew Leonard's Danbury store Monday through Friday between 3pm-6pm or on the weekends between 11am to 6pm for a visit with Santa and enjoy a number of other family friendly events. Don't forget your camera and checkout this year's 25 foot Norwegian spruce planted just outside the store to be used for all future Christmas tree lighting celebrations!

Maritime Aquarium, Norwalk
Where will Santa be on the weekends leading up to Christmas? In a toy workshop of course! Santa will be working in Maritime Aquarium's Toy Boat Workshop, overseeing young builders as they craft small wooden toy. Santa will also be accepting wish lists and posing for pictures.

Note: Santa will step away from the workshop to dive with the Aquarium's sharks at 12:15 and 2:15 each day.

Heights and Lights, Stamford
Watch and Cheer for Santa Claus, Rudolph, the Grinch and friends as they dive from the top of Stamford's tallest buildings, Landmark Square. After, follow Santa and friends up Bedford Street to Latham Park for an evening of holiday music with the Cast of Elf JR. from Saxe Middle School and join in the countdown of the annual lighting of Stamford’s Holiday Tree on Sunday December 4th.

Candlelight at Bush-Holley Historic Site, Greenwich
Enjoy a candlelight tour through the Bush-Holley House with the Greenwich Historical Society. In addition to your family-friendly walk through Bush-Holley House, there will be live music, hot chocolate, seasonal goodies, winter-themed crafts for kids and a special appearance by Santa Claus from 5:30–6:30 pm.

Fairview Tree Farm, Shelton
Tucked in the hills of Shelton, Fairview Tree Farm offers a magical cut-your-own Christmas tree experience for families. Santa comes to visit the farm each weekend in December. Be on the lookout for one of his runaway reindeer or elves and enjoy a tractor ride and some hot cocoa.

Santa’s visiting hours are Mondays through Saturdays from 10am-9pm, and Sundays 11am-6pm.   Santa does take breaks for lunch and dinner, so time your visit accordingly.

Santa will be available for the quintessential Christmas photo on Mondays-Saturdays between 10am-8pm, Fridays and Sundays between 11am-7pm. Frosty and Rudolph will be joining Santa in the lower level center court for a face painting, hugs and photos on Saturday December 3 from 10am-1pm

The New Canaan Nature Center will transforms into a Winter Wonderland on December 17th for a wacky winter scavenger hunt, marshmallows roasting on a open fire, horse-and-carriage rides, and, of course, photos with the man in red.
