Stamford Museum and Nature Center - Stamford
Bring friends and enjoy a picnic on the Meadow at Stamford Museum and Nature Center. There are plenty of picnic tables for everyone to enjoy a lovely lunch with a view. After you are done eating, walk over 80 acres of nature trails, say hello to the animals at Heckscher Farm and burn off some energy at the playground.

Cranbury Park - Norwalk

Cherry Lawn - Darien
I have been known to enjoy a pizza picnic with friends at Cherry Lawn. It’s playgrounds provide the perfect location to burn off a little afternoon steam. The park provides nice shaded areas and benches - plus it is also conveniently located next to the Darien Nature Center.

Lake Mohegan - Fairfield
In the summer months, this park offers a lake for swimming and a sprinkler pad that is perfect for toddlers (or anyone trying to cool off). But, the lake provides a beautiful setting for a picnic almost any time of the year. This park also has a playground, picnic shelter, and restroom faciliites.
