Free and fun things to do in Connecticut are everywhere this month. The sweet sap is flowing in March, and families are getting ready to celebrate one of the holidays of Winter: St. Patrick’s Day! Things are going to get green as we celebrate all things Irish and welcome spring 2023.
March has plenty of creative opportunities for kids to express themselves. Connecticut kids can explore so much, from arts and crafts to clay in towns like New Canaan, West Hartford, and East Windsor. Learn about Women’s History Month at Paving the Way. And start getting outside again to get some sweet maple syrup! There are events going on all over state where you can find demonstrations, pancake breakfasts, and a even a fair! And of course, St. Patty’s Day is around the corner with Hartford’s annual parade attended by thousands. There's also a grown-ups only gala at Stepping Stones to raise money for the museum.
We're adding things to our family activity calendar every day, so don't forget to sign up for our newsletters for regularly updated events!
