Looking for the best things to do in San Francisco and the Bay Area this weekend? Here are some family-friendly events and activities to add to your list!

It's beginning to look a lot like the holidays in the San Francisco Bay Area! Many holiday events open this weekend, including Enchant Christmas in San Jose, Glow at the Exploratorium in San Francisco, The Great Dickens Fair in Daly City, and more.

Wicked fans can check out a Wicked Night Out at Tech Interactive in San Jose, with the film shown in the massive IMAX Dome Theater for the complete experience. Science fans can head to the California Academy of Arts and Sciences for their annual Welcome Winter Night, where families can see live reindeer, explore polar habitats, and more.

With Thanksgiving just a week away, kids can examine the holiday under a microscope at the Lawrence Hall of Science, or get out for some exercise at the Thanksgiving 5K at Oyster Point.
