Corn Mazes in Westchester, Orange, and Dutchess Counties

1. Outhouse Orchards – North Salem

In addition to its corn maze, fall fun at Outhouse Orchards includes pick-your-own apples and pumpkins, hayrides, and a corn maze. Weekend reservations can be booked online.

2. Kesicke Farm – Rhinebeck​

Kesicke Farms hosts Fall Festivals every weekend from Saturday, September 23 through Sunday, October 29, 10am to 5pm. In addition to the 5-acre corn maze, Kesicke Farms also offers wagon and hay rides, pumpkin picking, and a petting zoo. Beware: The farm is cash-only, so plan accordingly; there is an ATM on site.

3. Wright Family Farm – Warwick

The 5-acre corn maze at Wright Family Farm offers miles of trails for you and your family to explore. And for those who may lose their way, there are special “Corny Passports” to help you navigate through the maze. A $15 Farm Pass includes the maze and such activities as cow train rides, pedal carts, pumpkin bowling, and rubber duck races. Other activities like pony rides and apple cannons are available for an additional fee. Save money by purchasing tickets online in advance.

4. Pierson’s Farm – Middletown

If you and your family really want to test your navigational prowess, a visit to Pierson’s Farm is a must. The farm offers two corn mazes (a smaller, kid-friendly maze near the farm animal section of the property, and a much larger maze with a different theme every year), as well as three sunflower mazesIn addition to the mazes, visitors can enjoy apple and pumpkin picking, hayrides, the animal barn, a playground, and more. Open through Tuesday, October 31, Mon-Fri, 11:30am-5pm and Sat/Sun/Columbus Day, 10am-6pm.

At just 2 acres, the maze at Hurd's Family Farm in Modena is the perfect size for young explorers.

Corn Mazes and Haunted Corn Mazes in Ulster County

5. Walkill View Farm – New Paltz, NY

There’s a little something extra awaiting corn maze explorers at Walkill View Farm; after exploring more than 3 acres of maze fun, you are rewarded with a prize of a free pumpkin at the end. In addition to the maze, you can take the hay ride to a real pumpkin field, jump around in a pumpkin-shaped bouncy house, play lawn games, taste freshly baked apple cider donuts, and enjoy other autumnal activities.

6. Headless Horseman Hayrides and Haunted Houses – Ulster Park

As its moniker indicates, Headless Horseman features attractions for those extra-brave, horror-loving souls. The corn maze is themed Evil Reaping. Two Saturdays, October 7 and October 21, are dedicated to the kids, with daytime festivities from 11:30am to 2:30pm, a toned-down scare level, and friendly characters appearing along a hayride experience. There are more family-friendly surprises to explore. Tickets can be booked online in advance.

7. Saunderskill Farms – Accord

Head to this farm on Saturdays and Sundays in October, where families can have a go at the corn maze—for FREE! There’s also pumpkin and apple picking, and hayrides, as well as other fun events. Open every day except Monday.     

8. Hurd's Family Farm – Modena

The corn maze at Hurd's Family Farm is open for the season and welcoming guests. At just 2 acres, it is the smallest on the list—and perfect for toddlers and preschoolers. While you're there, you can also ride the cow train or hayride, check out the Wild Apple Obstacle Course, and enjoy lots of other activities. A flat fee covers most activities, and there is a discount on weekdays. Kids under 3 are FREE. Wristbands may be purchased online in advance.

9. Kelder's Farm – Kerhonkson

With rows and paths winding through the maze, kids will love trying their hand at getting through the whole thing—without having to stop at the provided lookout points. The farm also has fruit picking, a petting zoo, and even mini-golf—not to mention the biggest garden gnome you've ever seen.

10. Samascott Garden Market – Kinderhook

Samascott's Garden Market's 7-acre maze is open for the season. In the maze, there are hidden "stations," and families who find all eight stations inside the maze get $1 off hard ice cream. The maze is open weekends in September and October, as well as Columbus Day, from 11am-4pm. The maze is located at the Garden Market, but there's also an orchard. Other activities are priced separately.
