The theater's annual Día de los Muertos block party celebration is a popular community event that features decorated altars, carnival rides, and live music.
Entertainment on the outdoor stage for 2023 is still TBA.
Guests can enjoy homemade tamales, craft booths, and a graveyard where families can make their own altars for departed loved ones, plus a Ferris wheel and merry-go-round.
The evening kicks off with a procession led by ceremonial dancers; costumes are welcome!
The event is held on Hoover Street between 23rd and 25th Streets; the procession to the event begins at Magnolia and Adams.
