Gardena celebrates Cinco de Mayo with an annual parade and all-day celebration.
The Grand Marshal is meteorologist Belen de Leon of NBC4 Today in LA. The Community Grand Marshal is Victor Escobar, a Gardena Valley Lions member.
The parade begins at 10am at Gardena Market (Gardena Blvd and New Hampshire Avenue) and ends at Mas Fukai Park, where the celebration starts up as the parade ends.
The festivities in the park include Mariachis, folklorico dancing, food, and classic cars, as well as the Miss Cinco de Mayo Queen and her Court.
