Artist Maria Elena Cruz visits the Fowler Museum for some Día de los Muertos inspired crafts. Guests can learn to create mini ofrendas (shrines/offerings) and ornamental sugar skull piñatas in honor of those who have passed away.
The weekend also marks the closing of Descanse en Paz: Memorial Paintings from 19th-Century Mexico. Visitors can tour the exhibition, listen to music, and enjoy pastries from La Monarca Bakery & Cafe.
