The Aquarium of the Pacific is Southern California's largest Aquarium, focusing on the planet’s largest and most diverse body of water, the Pacific Ocean.
The aquarium has more than 100 exhibits, including habitats for penguins and otters, sea jelly tanks, the Tropical Pacific Gallery, and the Southern California Gallery.
Outdoor exhibits include the walk-through Lorikeet Forest and Shark Lagoon (home to some sharks you can touch, and some you really shouldn't!)
The aquarium's latest addition is the stunning Pacific Visions wing. Programming engages visitors to contemplate environmental issues and sustainability, employing a state-of-the-art immersive theater, interactive art installations, and engaging multimedia displays.
