event

The Observatory is open to the public on Saturday evenings from sunset until midnight, hosted by the South Florida Amateur Astronomers Association.

The cement patio is available for public and member personal telescope setup; the observatory opens around dusk and stays open until midnight. Visitors arriving at the park before sunset are charged $1.50 to enter the park. Admission to the Observatory is free.

Once inside the park, at the 4-way stop turn left, then take the first right and continue to the end of the circle. The observatory is the flat-roof building with the red lights.
