Story time at the Smithsonian's National Air & Space Museum

event

Enjoy a free drop-in storytime every Thursday morning at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.

August: This month's book, Kite Flying, is a story about a family who makes and flies a kite together. Then stay and create a kite that can fly outside on a windy day.

September: This month, using Astronauts Zoom!, is a spin through the alphabet and a day in the life of an astronaut. Learn all about how astronauts brush their teeth, eat, and sleep on the International Space Station. Then create a space station model where to help imagine space adventures.

Free, timed-entry passes are required for the Museum in Washington, DC and can be reserved online.

Story time is sponsored by the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation.
