Smithsonian's National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute sits on 163 acres in the heart of Washington, DC’s Rock Creek Park and is home to more than 2,100 animals representing almost 400 different species.
Timed tickets are required for entry. Parking passes are available for a fee and are required to access the zoo's lots.
Advance tickets are released 60 days out.
