Outdoor Batting Cages in Westchester and the Hudson Valley

Home Run City – Mt. Vernon

Located at the Ice Hutch, a skating rink, Home Run City offers eight batting cages with speeds ranging from 40-85mph, for both softball and baseball. Prices start at $3 per token (1 token = 20 pitches) and cage rentals start at $25 for 15 minutes.  A $20 refundable deposit is required for bat and/or helmet rentals. Weather permitting, Home Run City is open from early February to mid-November.

Yorktown Golf & Baseball – Mohegan Lake

Westchester’s only covered driving range also offers eight batting cages, four for baseball and four for softball, with pitching speeds ranging from 45 to 85 mph. Prices start at $3.50 per token, 16 balls per token.  Cages are fully lighted for night play. If you work up an appetite after all that hitting, ice cream, candy, chips, and other snacks are available.

94 Pitch & Putt – Washingtonville

A full day of fun awaits you and the family at 94 Pitch and Putt, where, as the name implies, you can enjoy batting cages and miniature golf. The facility offers six different kinds of batting cages, ranging from a slow speed of 33 mph to a fast speed of 85 mph, as well as an 18-hole mini golf course. Bats and helmets are supplied if you do not have your own. You can also grab a snack or ice cream. 

V. E. Macy Park – Ardsley

There are two baseball fields available at V.E. Macy Park, use of which is available on a first-come, first-served basis. In between these two fields are two batting cages, fully enclosed by webbing and available to the general public for no fee. Each cage includes a pitcher’s mound that is screened to protect the person pitching.

The Castle Fun Center – Goshen

Located just a mile up the road from the Castle Fun Center, these six batting cages can help improve your batting game, no matter your skill level. Choose from a fast-pitch softball batting cage (50mph), medium baseball batting cage (50mph), arc softball batting cage (20mph), little league baseball batting cage (40mph), and a slow-pitch softball batting cage (30mph). The cost is $2.50 for 15 pitches.

Indoor Batting Cages in Westchester and the Hudson Valley

Tappan Golf Center – Tappan

No matter the weather, you can work on your hitting skills at the family-friendly Tappan Golf Center. The center offers six full-length indoor batting stations with both fast- and slow-pitch options at each station. The pitching machines can be set for a certain pitch, or the pitches can be varied. Prices start as low as $3.00 per token for 15 pitches. Guests must bring their own helmets and bats. 

East Coast Sports & Fitness – Yorktown Heights

You can choose from any of 16 batting cages on 17,000 square feet of indoor turf fields at East Coast Sports & Fitness. The charge is $50 for non-gym members, but it's free for gym members and their baseball and softball team families. Snacks are available in vending machines and at a café that is open periodically.

Outdoor/Indoor Batting Cages in Westchester and the Hudson Valley

Elev8 Athletics – Bedford Hills

You can practice your batting year-round at Elev8 Athletics. The outdoor turf field features two large cages (55' x 14') for full team hitting sessions. For indoor fun, there's a medium cage (45' x 12’) and a small cage (35' X 12’) in the multi-purpose room, with batting tees and hitting nets available at no additional cost. Prices vary based on season and cage size, ranging from $25 per half-hour to $165 per hour.
