Read all about it: the Orange County Children's Book Festival unites children's books authors, illustrators and readers.
Previous years' festivals have drawn more than 150 authors and illustrators and 33,000 attendees.
Entertainment can be found on stages dedicated to storytellers, illustrators, animals & nature, world stories, and entertainment. Other fun includes photo ops with popular sci-fi characters.
Special guests announced for 2024 include Gene Luen Yang (American Born Chinese, Avatar), Jasmine Warga (A Strange Thing Happened in Cherry Hall), Cynthia Kadohata (The Thing About Luck), and Austin Highsmith Garces (The Miracle Tree).
